About this chart
Disney+ ended fiscal 2025 (September 27, 2025) with 131.6 million paid subscribers, up 5% from 125.3 million restated a year earlier on the same basis. That count leaves out Hotstar, the India and Southeast Asia service that Disney stopped reporting after the 2024 Star India transaction. Disney also stopped disclosing subscriber counts from fiscal 2026, so the series ends at fiscal 2025.
Including Hotstar, Disney+ peaked at 164.2 million at the end of fiscal 2022. It launched in November 2019 and had 73.7 million by October 3, 2020 and 118.1 million by October 2, 2021. The combined total fell to 150.2 million in fiscal 2023 as Hotstar dropped from 61.3 million to 37.6 million. Excluding Hotstar, subscribers grew every year: 74.8, 102.9, 112.6, 122.7 and then 131.6 million.
