Animated infographics from a spreadsheet

An animated infographic is a chart that tells its story in motion: a title that asks a question, data that moves, captions at the turning points and a clear takeaway at the end. This tool builds all four from a pasted table.

The anatomy of a good animated infographic

  • A headline that frames the story, not just the topic.
  • One chart, moving: a race, a line drawing itself, or a donut changing shape.
  • Two or three captions that explain why things change.
  • A source line, and an end card with the answer.

How to make one

  1. Paste your data and pick the chart that fits: bars for rankings, lines for trends, donuts for shares of a whole.
  2. Write the headline and subtitle, add captions at key dates, and set the source.
  3. Choose a theme and brand it with your own logo on Pro.
  4. Export an MP4 in the format you need: vertical for social, 16:9 for slides and YouTube.

Where animated infographics work

  • Social posts and short-form video
  • Presentations: drop the MP4 into PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides
  • Newsletters and blog posts as a looping video or a PNG cover
  • Reports and dashboards when a static chart undersells the change

Frequently asked questions

Can I put the video in PowerPoint or Google Slides?

Yes. Export a 16:9 MP4 and insert it like any video. In PowerPoint, set it to play automatically so the chart animates when the slide appears.

Is it free?

Yes. You can build, preview and export 720p videos with a small watermark for free, no account needed. Pro is $11.99 a month and swaps our watermark for your logo, adds 1080p and 4K, 60 fps and music. Pro + AI is $19.99 a month and adds AI cleanup for messy data.

Do you upload my data?

No. Charts render and encode entirely in your browser, so your spreadsheet never leaves your device. The only exception is Fix it with AI, which you choose to use for very messy text. That's also why exports take seconds instead of waiting in a render queue.
